Join me here, where the stress of time, calendars, and the fast-paced world no longer sits in one place on your shoulder, demanding you fix it by doing what the world tells you to and how. Instead, float with me on the inspiration of change through sharing our/your stories of hope and inspiration—which never make the news, but instead bring hope to the hurting, the marginalized, and the lost.

Join the Resolution Revolution 2026

What’s actually “new” besides the date? Does anything truly “new” happen on January 1st? For many, the day is just another day. For others, it becomes a litany of promises that, by the end of the day, are whittled down to a mere shadow of the ambitious list of resolutions drafted a week earlier. Quite unlike Christmas lists that grow longer, resolutions and promises shrink—and in another week, New Year’s promises often dwindle to nothingness, worn thin as the body plumps, likely from eating the Valentine’s chocolates already lining market shelves before Christmas clearance has even ended.

Promises are hard. Resolutions are hard. Face it: we struggle to keep promises to ourselves and others, and there’s a reason for that. We shouldn’t feel obligated to make them in the first place. Stop making them. Be kind to yourself and others, and take this year off. Most of us already know our limitations, and a culture that molds us into someone we are not—and will never be—is not what we were created for. Many are just tired of pretending to be, or recovering from the trauma of last years life. Remember, you truly are of value just as you are. You do not need to become anyone or anything that our Creator did not design you to be. And realize this: you are already equipped with everything you need to grow into that creation.

If you change anything for the New Year, change the way you see yourself. Change the things you have control over, and if something truly needs changing—such as your health, finances, employment, or relationships —seek out somebody who will support you in that effort. Surround yourself with truly honest people who love and encourage you just as you are and won’t “fluff” you up to become somebody you do not feel comfortable being. Those are the people who will truly champion you to become the person you are deep down, underneath it all—not only the person in the skin, but the person under the skin. Join the Resolution Revolution this year and…start with just being yourself, starting today!

The Mission

Here at SomebodyUSA, you will find Somebody to encourage you every step of your journey through shared life experiences—experiences we all need to hear and that are meant to be uplifting through positive words and unwarranted deeds of opportunity we are shown through the actions of others. No matter how small the deed, when done for Somebody by Somebody with honesty, integrity, and commitment, it leaves a lasting impact and a legacy for others, for years to come.

Meet “Somebody”…
A simple wooden figure, void of any human substance—it has no self-control, no feelings or emotions, and no way of showing them unless Somebody, a human such as yourself, does those things for it. At some point in life, we too can become a lot like this wooden “Somebody”: a lifeless form, helpless, pressed in by circumstances, seemingly powerless over it all. We sense our human parts—our emotions, our feelings—beginging to cease “being and becoming”, stuck like an artist’s wooden armature, waiting for something to bring us to life. Sometimes all that is needed is Somebody to be there, to help make it happen.

child’s imagination is perhaps the closest thing to the imagination and creativity we attribute to God, our Creator—more than at any other stage of human life. New, curious, and truthfully open to the things that many will eventually succumb to as adults, children are literal wells of fascination, experimentation, and continual learning..,, Read more

Today, “Somebody” encourages you to reach out and stretch past your comfort zone. Become Somebody for Somebody today! Say “Hello” to a stranger during your daily routine; ask if someone needs help before they ask you. Make or pay for somebody’s meal before they ask—and especially if they don’t. And give the opportunity for Somebody to help you as well. True kindness doesn’t need permission; it just needs Somebody…..

Learning how to love takes a lot of trial and error. Some people spend an entire lifetime without truly knowing or feeling love. Others, wounded by past pain, choose never to love again, hardening their hearts even to the thought of it. They don’t necessarily hate—they simply don’t, or can’t, love anymore.

Scrooge” is a classic example of how people miss opportunities to become better versions of themselves. Read more…

Hope—what is it? Is it like a wish? Is it a silent thought of “maybe”? Is it a deep desire for an expectation to come true?

For one person facing an unimaginable crossroads, it is a prayer whispered in darkness, pleading for the rising sunlight over a mountain, for a new beginning of life. It is a plea that the agonizing decision placed in their hands had been made, removed, finished—and that whisper was for l.ife, for somebody else…Read more

Be kind and gentle to yourself as you travel throughout your days. You were not created for perfection in doing the “things” that the world brings for you to do. Nor were you created to measure up to the idea of perfection that others force upon you. Today, just take a moment and reflect upon who YOU are, away from the rush, the hurry and the chaos of expectation.
If anybody asks, tell them Somebody suggested it…
